Mar 2, 2023 TWi Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (“TWi”) today announced that its ANDA (“Abbreviated New Drug Application”) for Diltiazem HCL SR Capsules (equivalent to Cardizem SR®) has been officially approved by US FDA. The Company will start the preparation for launch in the US market accordingly.
 
Diltiazem HCL SR Capsules are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. According to IQVIA data, the total sales of Diltiazem HCL SR Capsules in the US were approximately US $55.4 million for the 12 months ended January 2023.
